As many of you know, we recorded our Good Friday service this year and plan on releasing it as our first Live worship album late summer. On Friday, April 6 we’ll hold our Good Friday service at historic Memorial Auditorium in Louisville (service times at 5:30 and 7:30pm). Sojourn Midtown Worship Director Brooks Ritter wrote “Lead Us Back” and “Living Faith” with me (from our albums Before The Throne and Over The Grave, respectively). I grew up in an End Times cult. But my parents listened to a lot of gospel music, which was the way in which I most often and clearly heard the gospel. Then my early 20s I worked in southern gospel radio, where I first worked alongside many Southern Baptists, independent Christians and other believers of the true gospel. Last Sunday our good friend Kevin Twit (leader and founder of Indelible Grace) led a songwriting seminar at The 930 Art Center, part of our Midtown Campus.
